The R. STAHL Series 8530 residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) are a key component for residual current monitoring, designed to switch off systems in the event of residual currents. They are designed for an AC rated operational voltage of 230 V and operate at a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The electrical service life is 10, while the mechanical service life is 2 x 10. The enclosure is made from thermoplastic material.

1-pole + N: This variant can include auxiliary contacts, such as a 1 change-over contact and a fault signal contact.
3-pole + N: Available with or without auxiliary contacts. The version with auxiliary contacts features a fault signal contact with 1 change-over contact.
The technical data provides detailed information on various specifications, including connection cross-sections. The main connection cross-section ranges from a minimum of 1.5 mm² to a maximum of 25 mm². The auxiliary contact connection cross-section ranges from a minimum of 0.5 mm² to a maximum of 4 mm². The device has a degree of protection of IP2X according to IEC 60529.

The tightening torque for mounting is specified at 2–3 N-m (17.7 to 26.6 lbf-in), and for the auxiliary contact, it is 0.4–0.6 N-m (3.5 to 5.3 lbf-in)
